I DON'T KNOW. People really should read things aloud to themselves before posting them on the Internets.

My guess is they're trying to up the hit-count on their site, and they're of the "Any attention is good attention" school of thought.

I think it has to be. People who actually think that a) don't blog quite this prodigiously and b) aren't generally this articulate. Or in my experience, sober. o.O

Could you mention what you're linking to when you link something like that with Tinyurl, please? If I'd known what you were linking to, I wouldn't have clicked, because I've already heard enough about Spearhead to know I don't want to read more, and I certainly didn't want to give their site any traffic.

In a perfect world, there would be a website where you could go and find clips of what the writers of that blog:

1) do in the privacy of their homes
2) do at work
3) do at all other times, esp. with their women (assuming that they have found any)

This site would allow us all to see what wonderful and brilliant examples of human manhood they really are, esp. in their most unguarded moments.

And somewhere there would be a little room where wherever the requisite level of asshattery was reached for addition to the ranks of the watched, a little bell went ding. *nods*

Ah. Attention trolls (notice how they were pissed at Scalzi not because he criticized them but because he didn't link back to their story?)

Trolls is what I keep thinking. So over-the-top it doesn't seem real, which makes me think it kind of isn't.

I saw the original story linked, and did not click - I cannot spend rage on these asshats. They're so ridiculous as to marginalize their misogynist-ass selves.

It's like they chose the most ridiculous, offensive, outrageous things they could possibly think of and then compiled them. I can't spend rage on them mainly because I can't bring myself to believe they're serious. I mean, on the Internet?
