Bleeding edges (and why I love them)

Okay. New crazy!fan theory. Dr. Mildred Finch (Numb3rs) spent 18 months in Antarctica during 2005/2006, supposedly working on some gigantic telescope.

Working on some other super-classified government project, y/n?

P.S. Bill Nye was in 5 episodes of Numb3rs. Did I tell you how excited we in this apartment are about Bill Nye the Science Guy on SGA? (Answer: SO. EXCITED. There may be chanting of "Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!" and certainly we will be imagining the crowd of scientists doing same.)

Roomie artemisiabrisol and I have decided that Brain Storm looks like it's modelled after Doctor Who. Ritzy public gathering to unveil super-awesome scientific invention that then goes horribly awry, forcing dorky, brilliant mystery man (from space!) to step in and save Planet Earth. He even comes with Unlikely, Out-of-Place Pretty Girl as his date.

(And the tux. Oh, the tux. How many of you are with me in imagining David arguing he should be allowed to wear Chucks with that outfit? ^.^)

P.P.S. I hate my essay with the power of a thousand fiery suns. Seriously.
