A whole fan club of Mary Sues. I love it. ;) And the best part is, all these rules, Mercedes Lackey came up with *herself*. Now that's loyalty to your fans. *stupid grin* This is so cool.
Okay, okay, I'm done. Stop looking at me like that. *g*
It snowed again last night. I didn't even notice, until I looked out the window and went "Hey, snow! Where the hell did that come from?" at like two this morning. I finished my essay, though, and it kicks much ass, if I do say so myself. (Anyone really bored who wants to read a lowly first-year paper that amounts, essentially, to high-minded bitching about some really stupid Canadian laws, it's here. I don't reccomend it, though. *sheepish look*)
I realized this morning, not for the first time, tht one of the major consequences of having to think on the academic level at 8-anything in the morning is the strange thought processes in which one... thinks, and the vaguely ridiculous images that pop unbidden into your head. Discussing Liberalism in Practice in sociology today, the IMF and loans from Western countries to "underdeveloped" ones, I started thinking about how similar this was to house mortages, and I wonderd, idly, what would happen if some countries couldn't pay back their loans - in real-life terms, the bank reposessesyour house, your car... and I had a momentary image of the IMF walking into Parliament, wearing brown coveralls and carrying clipboards... "Sorry, everyone, but the IMF has foreclosed on yoru country. We're reposessing your capital cities, the thing you call an army, and all three submarines..."
