Pilgrimage to Geek Mecca Day Last?

The weird thing is, I was sure I posted on Friday, because I remember typing "Pilgrimage to Geek Mecca Day 2", but it doesn't seem to be there. Huh.

I know I didn't post yesterday, because yesterday was insane. Just, insane. We helped out at the Sanctuary booth and it was also Saturday (which sold out three weeks ago) and packed, and I mean this pretty much literally, solid. No room to move at all.

Anyway, it's over now, we had a good weekend, pimped Sanctuary to many people (including one guy and his kid in the hotel lobby this morning), and after they shut down the floor Damian took us out for dinner and I ate half of the biggest burrito known to mankind. (It weighed a POUND. Literally a POUND. It was bigger than my head.) Tomorrow we go to the beach or something. I don't know. We leave at 5pm, so we've got most of the afternoon, ish. Two days back and then it's off to Dexcon. (Sleep? HAH!)

Also, and I will elaborate sort of on this later, daroos, calantha42, kepp0xy and I saw a sneak preview of Coraline! And it looks extremely awesome. And then Neil signed a poster and took my copy of Coraline right out of my hands and signed it. Hee.

I now have a t-shirt that says "Scary Trousers." Hee.

I... saw jbmcdragon, who kept getting stopped to be photographs as she was dressed as Lara Croft (convincingly). Also met Natasha Eloi (if you're not a Canadian, don't bother), who was extremely cool and seemed surprised and pleased that I was Canadian and, like, actually recognised her.

At some point there was a booth where I bought a sonic screwdriver. No, not a real one. That'd be cool, though. It's still pretty cool.

Okay. Clearly I have not got this organised in my head. At all.

Try again tomorrow night, maybe, with pictures (and video!).
