Just watched Hogfather...

Which is pure brilliance, if you were wondering, and if you haven't got BBC, run, don't walk, to your usual torrent site, and download it, because it's awesome, and it made me happy. ;)

A tidbit, spoken by Susan and Death:

SUSAN: "You're saying humans need fantasies to make life bearable."

DEATH: "No. Humans need fantasy to be human. To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape."

And briefly after:

DEATH: "You need to believe in things that aren't true. How else can they become?"

Pratchett is awesome, and his Death is unquestionably my favourite. And the live-action Pratchett Death translated quite as well as 2-D animation Pratchett Death.

Seriously. Go watch it. If only for Death in a Santa suit. ;)
