I was in an extremely morose mood, all paper-stressy and midterm-stressy and ack-stupid-tax-bastards stressy, and then I got on the Skytrain, and there was a lady with two little white curly-furred puppies, one in her bag and one in her jacket, neither older than seven or eight weeks old, and they were all sleepy and squirmy and cute, and my brain, totally of its own volition, announced: "Stop bitching! There are puppies in the world."

I mean, the good mood mostly went away with the puppies when they and their human got off at Columbia and my MP3 player battery died, but it was nice for a minute. :)
