This is first stage planning for Return of the King. We have to get tickets SOON, and as we learned last year, it's better to get them in one batch. ;)

So. Anyone coming who wants to get in on the early-ticket-purchasing, comment, e-mail me, or phone. Deadline is Monday, possibly Tuesday if I'm feeling generous. I'll start off the process by putting down myself, and She Whose Card We'll be Using.

1. Ari
2. BigKim

There. See how easy? Now, your turn. :)

Re: errr...
Well, show doesn't start until midnight, we prolly wont be there until 9pm, so take your exam, bring your costume with you, hop on a bus, shower up and have fun. It's a Tuesday, so I have work off, so I'll prolly be cooking dinner for everyone again (haven't quite decied yet. but if there are things you like, tell me!)

How are you gonna get there? We're going to the midnight showing in Coquitlam and it'll go till four.

wow, that's late.

hokay, here come the questions.

Are you all meeting at KimandAriCentral before the show? If so, with proper transit directions (or at least street address and a phone call to translink) we can be there.

Would we be able to sleep over afterwards, Ari/Kim? If it's over at four am, there's obviously no way we'd be able to get into surrey after that.

Most importantly, what date is all this happening? And how much would we owe for tickets?

I think the plan was to be meeting at the Wendy's, but I might just be thinking that because that's what we did last year... so I don't know.

Tickets are going to be... about fifteen bucks apiece, I think. I actually think it's more like 13.79, but I'm going to say fifteen because I don't know what kind of taxes/geek-fees they'll levy. And I'm afraid that this year we're having to insist on seeing cash before we charge the card, given how many people last year a)didn't show up b)never paid up c)ended up in different theatres... you understand. We intend to buy tickets the first day advance sales begin, which is, I believe, December the 2nd. The movie itself is the 17th/18th.

About our floor? I'm afraid we're already full up, with Nadja/Dan, Ki, Shannon/Marty, and of course us two who live here. That's all the couch/floorspace we've got. One person we could manage, *maybe*, but not two. :( Sorry.

*putting my foot down*
BigKim wasn't allowed to come wearing the White Hand, nor is Brendan allowed to come as a Nazgul. We all agreed that LoTR villains are Not Cool (this isn't Buffy o.O) - and thus the only restriction we put on costumes is that you have to come attired as a Force For Good. At least if you want to sit with us. We're going for a theme, here.

Re: *putting my foot down*
Well, the topic of costumes is rather moot since you guys have no more space for us.
