Passing it on: read this.

Public service announcement:

So, there's this camp in Shawnigan Lake, BC, called Camp Narnia. Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. My sister has been going there every summer for several years now, and is madly in love with the place, as is, I'm told, everyone else she's ever met there. I've seen the place, too: it's gorgeous, and people come from all over the world. The problem is that the camp has little in the way of public relations; its owner will be retiring eventually, and enrollment has been dropping because they don't really advertise.

The kids have mobilised this year to spread the word about the place, and apparently they're all descending, Camp-Narnia-shirt-clad, on various movie theatres hosting the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe release in December, so if you go, you'll probably see them, but the more word-of-mouth the better. So, I'm passing on the request she made on her LJ: if you are or know any kids or parents looking for good summer camp options, or know/are someone just very fond of the Narnia books and a little adventure, do the kids a favour and mention Camp Narnia; in person, on your LJ, whatever. A little goes a long way. It's a great place and the staff do a great job. Their website is here, and the camp LJ community is here.

I finally caught up on my Friends page. My head hurts. You people need to stop having lives when I go away.

Rescheduled my exam, for 8:30 Monday morning. I have to take them a rescheduling fee (to pay for the lightning, supposedly) and proof that I was actually there, actually delayed, and had not in fact scheduled things that way specifically in order to miss the exam.

Obviously these people have never slept in an airport. >.<

There's a really, really big pile of bills on my kitchen table that I have no memory of opening. Actually most of it is from school. But still. A pile.

Colonist history, by the way? Is very dull. (226 pages to go.)
