*glaring at LiveJournal*

We got our PoliSci papers back today. (note: I wrote this entry... um... day before yesterday. It was only today that I actually manged to *post*)

Honestly, I expected to fail. After 48% on the first term exam, I figured I'd probably at best pass the essay.

I really think he enjoys torturing us, despite what he says. He started by telling us how another prof in the department made three students cry. Then he spent like twenty minutes going over what would have lost us marks, etcetera.

He took an inordinate amount of pleasure in watching us squirm. >.<

But then he actually gave them back to us.

I GOT AN 87! *dances some more* Which brings my average up to... *does some math* 67.something-or-other. Yay!

Now all I've got to do is pass the Christmas Exam, and I'm in the clear...

...I dunno, really. It just grabbed my brain and made me write it down. It made me look bad in class - I wasn't paying attention. The prof said I was "wool-gathering". *grumble*

By ancient birth,
On trampled earth,
Was formed egality
But drawing in
To drying skin
Deformed reality.

False light, outspilled,
It split in two:
Pure pale and sullied grey.
And few remain
Touch sight unseen -
Called mad and turned away

In happening by
Once brightened things,
In shadows long and deep;
And overtake
As wakened rough from sleep.
