History. 'Nuff said.

I'm starting to come down from the shock-high. And I decided on one thing; I don't want to forget today.

What happened today? Today, at approximately 8:45 Eastern time, a passenger liner collided with the North tower of the World Trade Centre in New York City. The tower collapsed under its own weight, like someone stepping on a pop can. About eighteen minutes later, another jet collided with the South tower. It also collapsed.

At about the same time, a third jet collided with one wing of the Pentagon in Washington DC. Following this, one side of the building collapsed. I don't have the time for that.

A fourth plane crashed in rural Pittsburgh.

All four planes are believed to have been hijacked by the same terrorist group. This terrorist gruop has not been identified. It's believed that the fourth plane was perhaps kept from crashing into a populated area by passengers taking action against the hijackers.
Everyone's favourite suspect is a terrorist called Osama bin Laden.

Airspace all over North America is a no-fly zone, including Canada. All means of transportation - VIA rail, Greyhound, and all airlines - are shut down. The Stock Exchange has been closed. The world has ground to a halt.

There were other reports of a plane being re-directed to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, that is being treated as a hijacked plane.

I don't know what to think. I *do* know that Bush's speech did *not* impress me. Maybe I expect too much. But he didn't give anyone any more information than what's been repeating over and over for eight hours.

I got back from my first class at eleven fifteen this morning (Atlantic) and the TV was on. That was the first I heard of it. I didn't go to any more classes today. They cancelled classes anyway.

Which was good - because I wouldn't have gone anyway. I went straight to #subcafe, trying to track down everyone who might have been in or near the danger areas. I've been in there on and off since eleven this morning now. It's now ten PM.

Damndamndamn.

I'm sure I had something really important to say, but if I did, I've forgotten it. There was dancing in the streets of Palestine. Eck. And they still haven't gotten ahold of Gilli, who's in Israel. Gods.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.

But nobody's t elling. Like I said, they've been repeating the same news for six hours. And if the US gov. or the President knows something (which I'm sure they do, but I'm a raving conspiracy theorist, after all, so it's not a great plan to put too much stock in me) they're not *going* to tell. Somebody was bombing Kabul, Afganistan, and people keep posting the same Nostradamus quote.

In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress entures, the great leader will succumb."

"The third big war will begin when the big city is burning."

-Nostradamus 1654

I don't know.

Yep. Foe and I went searching for it a few hours ago and the only place we could find it was on a debunking site.

As soon as I find the link again, I'll post it.
