I saw a lot of you at Dexcon two or so weeks ago, but I guess the rest of you poor folks who don't make it to cons wouldn't know.
I'm in Nova Scotia, specificially in a nearly-nonexistent townlet called Dunvegan, just outside Inverness on the northern coast of Cape Breton. I'm at my cousins' house, using their computer. And in a minute, I have to go make the new computer cough up music like a well-behaved machine should do.
(History nugglet: Dunvegan, as some of you may know, is also the name of the large ancestral home of the MacLeods on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It's called Dunvegan here because the first people here were MacLeods. Duh. ;)Which is why every other street, brook, stream, river or campsite is MacLeod something-or-other. It's really kinda neat. My great-uncle taught Natalie McMaster how to play the fiddle... okay, so that last part was off on a tangent. Live with it. ;)
I should go off and help my cousin make her puter work, now, as I said I would. And I will, I really will, get back to posting quasi-regularly once I get settled into residence on Sunday. Erk. Haven't even met my roommate yet. o.O
