I love Halloween. It's my favourite holiday. Even more so than Christmas. And apparently I'm going to miss it because my dad's too lazy to get off his butt and fetch me from school.
I even offered him chocolate bribes, and he said he couldn't, because there was a hockey game on.
He said: "There's a hockey game on!"
I said: "Tape it."
He said he couldn't tape it, because he'd asked people to tape it for him before and it never happens. Why he can't tape it himself, I have no idea. It's just a hockey game. There are dozens more this year. Whereas Halloween is just the once.
Even if I take Transit home, it'll be nine-fifteen at the earliest, and that's to the station that's a fifteen minute walk from home. That's an hour-and-a-half trip on Transit as opposed to the forty-five minutes it takes to *drive* home. Damnit, damnit, DAMNIT.
